A train derailment occurred in Juliette today, posing an unusual challenge for our service personnel. Emergency responders found that one of the train cars was positioned on top of a 500-gallon propane tank containing gas, with the tank's valve sheared off. Norfolk Southern and Monroe County requested our support in safely removing the tank to facilitate cleanup and restoration efforts.
