Donny’s Propane Gas has broken ground on a new location designed to strengthen propane delivery service across eastern Middle Georgia. The planned facility will include a 30,000-gallon storage tank and give drivers a more convenient reload point when serving Jones, Baldwin, Wilkinson, and Twiggs counties.
This is an investment in the communities our team already travels through every week. As the customer base grows across the eastern portion of our service area, a well-positioned reload location can help drivers spend less time returning to a distant supply point and more time completing their routes.
What the new location is designed to do
Propane delivery is a logistics business as much as it is a fuel business. Drivers must begin with sufficient supply, travel safely between customers, and reload when needed. A storage facility closer to the eastern routes is intended to make that process more efficient.
The planned 30,000-gallon tank will support delivery operations in Jones, Baldwin, Wilkinson, and Twiggs counties. The facility is not being presented as a replacement for Donny’s existing operations; it is an additional resource intended to support company growth and improve coverage for customers farther east.
Supporting communities across the eastern service area
The reload location will be especially useful for routes serving communities such as Gray and Haddock in Jones County, Gordon and McIntyre in Wilkinson County, and Danville in Twiggs County, along with customers in Baldwin County. Customers can review the full list of communities on our Propane Delivery Areas page.
Because the project is still being developed, specific operating details will be shared as construction progresses. The important milestone today is that ground has been broken and the site is moving from a plan toward a working part of Donny’s delivery network.
Growing while remaining locally focused
Donny’s Propane has grown by serving Middle Georgia homes, farms, churches, and businesses with dependable local service. Adding supply capacity closer to eastern routes is a practical next step—one that supports drivers in the field while helping the company respond to customer needs across a wider area.
We appreciate every customer whose trust has made this expansion possible. If you need propane delivery, a new tank installation, or help evaluating your current system, visit our Propane Services page.
